Madam, - An article featuring the city of Gothenburg and written by Michael Parsons appeared in your Go travel supplement of August 16th. It contains, I must say, a very derogatory reference to my native town when Mr Parsons writes: "For those of you looking for that sort of thing, the hanky-panky quotient seems to be lower than in Clonmel on a Saturday night".
I would like very much to know what exactly Mr Parsons means by naming our town so explicitly. I think the least he can now do is issue an apology for such a scurrilous statement. - Yours, etc,
