Sir, – I refer to the letter “Getting to the papal Mass in Dublin” (July 3rd) regarding Bus Éireann services for the Phoenix Park event on August 26th next. The customer who contacted the company about services to the event unfortunately received an incorrect reply stating we would not be operating any extra services on the day.
The company would like to clarify that it will be operating an enhanced Sunday schedule on all commuter routes into and out of Dublin City on Sunday, August 26th. All Bus Éireann services (Commuter and Expressway) will operate to and from BusÁras, or its immediate surrounding area (Beresford Place, Amiens Street, George’s Quay and Custom House Quay).
We are in the process of finalising the details for each of these particular services and expect to publish a link on our website buseireann.ie next week. The company apologies for any confusion caused, and we expect to have a full list of enhanced services published in the near future. – Is mise,
