Sir, – Frank O’Mahony (March 22nd) makes the startling claim that poor summer book sales are due to Ryanair’s baggage limitations.
I don’t suppose it could have anything to do with: 1. The 14 per cent national unemployment level. 2. A deep recession, or 3. Electronic devices are doing to book sales what the iPod did to CDs?
