Madam, - As Kevin Myers rightly points out (An Irishman's Diary, May 15th), the grim discovery of over 2,000 human remains at a mass grave near Hillah is further proof of the barbarism of Saddam Hussein's rule.

But where are all the missing weapons of mass destruction, which we were repeatedly assured by US President George Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair were the sole basis for what Kevin Myers described as the "terrible war" in Iraq?
