Sir, – Breda O’Brien misses one important point in her piece about Enoch Burke. (“What Enoch Burke saga teaches us about the Irish justice system,” Opinion, July 13th).
Burke can leave prison any time he likes. He just has to follow court orders like any other citizen.
Comparisons with other crimes and sentences are absolutely irrelevant. – Yours, etc,
