Sir, - Whatever about the hygiene of the taxi-drivers I think their cars are an absolute disgrace. They are usually dirty, often have dents on the sides and very often seem to have no indicators.
Now that we are to get more cabs on the road, why on earth can't they be the same make and colour of car, as is the practice in most other countries?
We have such a wonderful, vibrant city, but I think out taxis really let us down. - Yours, etc.,
