AN ARTICLE in last Saturday’s edition, concerning cost-benefit analysis of the proposed bypass for Slane, Co Meath, quoted Sen Dominic Hannigan as saying that for every €3 spent there would be a payback of €1. In fact, what he said was that for every €1 spent, there would be a payback of €3.

An item in The Ticket in the edition of February 18th said incorrectly that the Athy Film Club will be showing Pyjama Girls as part of the Jameson Dublin Film Festival. It is showing the Domhnall Gleeson-directed Noreen along with two other short films. The showing is this Friday at Athy College. Doors open 7.30pm.

In Angling Notes in yesterday’s edition, a date was given for the Slaney River Trust seminar in the Millrace Hotel, Bunclody, Co Wexford. The revised date is Saturday, March 5th.
