Army personnel are not included in the proscribed occupations under the Occupational Injuries Scheme, contrary to what was reported in Wednesday's editions under the heading, "Army deafness cases would not have met social welfare rules".

A report in yesterday's editions referred to the opening by the Bar Council of the State's first arbitration centre. However, the Arbitration Centre at 4 Arran Square in Dublin has been in operation since 1994.

A report in last Thursday's Property Supplement said that Mr Justice Seamus Egan, who sold his original home on Shrewsbury Road in Ballsbridge, Dublin, to the Finnish embassy, is now living in a house on the grounds. In fact, the Egan family home is on an adjoining site.

Where errors occur it is the policy of The Irish Times to correct or clarify as soon as practicable.
