Young writers between 12 and 19 are invited to enter a Young Science Writers' Competition organised by the RDS in association with Technology Ireland, the Marine Institute and the Provincial Newspapers' Association. The work must be inspired by science and may be a journalistic report, a story, a poem or play. There are fact and fiction categories and additional awards will be given for entries with a marine content. Closing date for entries is February 28th next and further details are available from Ms Carol Power, RDS, Balls bridge, Dublin 4.
