Police in the North are appealing for witnesses to come forward after the death of a woman was hit by a car near Newry, Co Down.
The 59-year-old woman was hit by the car at 9.45 p.m. as she lay on Clontigora Road near the town.
A PSNI spokesman said anybody who saw a woman walking on the road in dark clothing last night, should come forward.
