A 57-year-old Co Waterford woman was cleared yesterday of charges of forgery.
Mrs Bridget Clancy of Stradbally, Co Waterford, was accused of forging a GAA lottery ticket to enable her husband to win a top prize of £5,000.
Judge Kevin Haugh directed a jury of six women and five men to return a verdict of not guilty.
