A Derry woman who sustained multiple injuries when a car in which she was travelling was struck by a van was awarded £82,000 at the High Court in Sligo yesterday.
Mrs Elizabeth Gilmour-Browne, of Enagh Crescent, Maydown, Derry, suffered injuries to her head, back, ribs and abdomen in the accident at Oranmore, Co Galway, in 1993.
