A Dublin woman has been remanded on bail by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court after she pleaded guilty to importing £75,000 worth of heroin. Emma Mooney (21), of Dorset Street, admitted importing the drug into Dublin Airport on February 1st, 1995.

On the application of Mr Shane Murphy, defending, Judge Michael Moriarty requested a probation report and remanded her on bail to March 15th for sentence.

GOAL said the money given to the UN in discretionary spending is eaten up by administration and high salary costs.
