A decision on the establishment of a wind-farm on Inismaan, one of the Aran islands, has been made by An Bord Pleanana - but the board will not be announcing its decision until the parties have been notified later today, writes Tim O'Brien.
A spokeswoman for the board said last night that the order, which was being made in Irish, would be made public by 10 a.m.
Planning permission for the three-turbine, 600 kv windfarm was granted last summer by Galway County Council, but was appealed by Friends of the Irish Environment.
