Maseru - Just hours after Christians gathered in churches throughout the kingdom of Lesotho yesterday to pray for rain at the behest of King Letsie III, it began to pour, correspondents said.
The rains were not expected to save the summer crops, but if they continue they could help in the cultivation of winter crops such as wheat, peas and fodder.
