Dublin

Road-widening works on the Palmerstown and Naas Road exits of the M50 will affect all southbound traffic. Concrete bollards along the roadworks at the Lucan exit will prevent motorists exiting at the last minute. Allow sufficient time to signal and enter exit lane. Work on the Tallaght QBC along Templeogue Road. Work on the Swords QBC will affect Beaumont Road, Lower Drumcondra Road, Collins Avenue and Swords Road.

Carlow

Major delays at the junction of the N80 Portlaoise road and N9 Dublin road at the Braun factory. Motorists are advised to avoid the junction.

Laois

The road between St Peter and Paul's RC church and Portlaoise General Hospital is closed. Roadworks continue on N8 in Abbeyleix until the end of May.

Clare

Pipe-laying between Ennis and Barefield, the Clon Road and also north and south of Clarinbridge will affect traffic.

Cavan

Delays on the N17 on the Galway-Sligo road in Claremorris town centre continue. Road and footpath upgrading in Cavan town centre on Main Street and Bridge Street.

Galway

Traffic reduced to one lane on the N6 between Loughrea and Oranmore.

Cork

Traffic along Anderson's Quay reversed to flow from Michael Collins Bridge and Brian Boru Bridge. Access to Kennedy Quay via Mill Road only. Victoria Road closed between Monahan's Road and Victoria Avenue. Diversions to and from Blackrock are via Monahan's Road and Maryville. The Marina is closed. Along the N20, work is in place at Newpothouse. Temporary lights are in place along the N20 between Cork and Limerick in Ballyhea village.

Aer Rianta

Some 155,000 passengers are expected to pass through Dublin Airport this weekend. Passengers should allow sufficient time in order to comply with security and check-in regulations.

Iarnrod Eireann

An extra train will be in operation for the Derry v Meath National Football League Final in Croke Park on Sunday, leaving Dundalk 11 a.m. and returning 18.10 p.m. Engineering work on the Sligo-Dublin line between Edgeworthstown and Sligo. Bus transfers are in operation.
