Weekend Travel
There are roadworks on the inbound carriageway of the Naas Road east of Rathcoole; on Beaumont Road at Grace Park Road; on Shelbourne Road at the corner of the Berkeley Court Hotel; on Aughrim Street during off-peak hours; outbound on Malahide Road; and on Upper Leeson Street at the junction of Waterloo Road and Wellington Place.
The construction of bus corridors on Stillorgan Road is continuing. The layout at Aughrim Street/Manor Street is being changed as part of a new quality bus corridor. There is now no left turn from Manor Street on to Aughrim Street.
Island Street, between Bonham Street and Watling Street, is closed to through traffic. Essex Street West is also closed to through traffic.
There is a new two-lane road layout from Blakes Cross southwards to the Lissenhall dual carriageway, with no right exit at Turvey junction.
There are roadworks and temporary lights on the N1 at Julianstown.
Carlton Road will be closed until February 19th.
Armagh
The A51 on the Madden Road in Tanderagee is closed due to bridge reconstruction work.
Belfast
Refurbishment work on the Albert Bridge is causing delays and diversions.
Building work is taking place on William Street from Church Street to Royal Avenue, with a diversion in operation.
Carlow
Roadworks will cause delays at Kildavan on the Carlow-Bunclody road.
Cork
Popes Road is closed at the junction with Rathmore Park for drainage work.
Donegal
Work continues on the Donegal bypass, with temporary traffic lights on the N15 just north of Donegal town.
There are roadworks on the Donegal Road in Letterkenny and on the Sligo side of Donegal town.
Galway
Due to building work at the university, the entrance on the Newcastle Road has been closed, with all traffic now entering the campus via University Road.
There are roadworks on the Coast Road from Galway to Oranmore.
Kildare
Maintenance work is taking place on the Dublin-bound side of the motorway near Newbridge until next Tuesday.
Leitrim
There are realignment works, with speed restrictions, on the N16 Sligo-Enniskillen road west of Manorhamilton.
Limerick
Roadworks continue on the N69 at Mungret and Clarina, with temporary lights. There will be roadworks on the N7 Limerick-Dublin road from Sallymount to Daly's Cross for six weeks. There is no through road from Athlunkard Street to Baal's Bridge via Sir Harry's Mall.
Louth
There are traffic delays on the N2 through Collon village, with one-way traffic and temporary lights. Work is also continuing on the N2 north of Ardee.
Westmeath
Resurfacing work is taking place on the N4 east of Rathowen village.
Rail Information
A new station has opened in Kilcock, Co Kildare.
For the next 10 weeks, between mid-Monday morning and Friday afternoon, all passengers travelling between Dublin and Galway will travel by bus between Ballinasloe and Galway due to track upgrading work.
Road Deaths
Up to yesterday morning 18 people had died in road accidents this year.
