Residents enter seventh day without water as work resumes to repair ruptured pipe

Permanent supply has been maintained in the following priority areas of Drogheda: Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda and commercial centre in Drogheda town in the Mell area; Donore Road; Marley's Lane; Cement Road; Ballsgrove; Marian Park; Crosslanes, and some estates in the area of these locations.

Clogherhead/Termonfeckin

The majority of Clogherhead area and the Clogherhead side of Termonfeckin will have some mains water supply throughout Wednesday, according to Irish Water.

The reservoir at Castlecoohill is receiving water with the assistance of Ballymakenny Group Water Scheme and is being topped up by a number of tankers.
