English club side Wasps today confirmed that former Ireland coach Warren Gatland has joined their backroom staff.
Gatland has agreed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Zurich Premiership outfit, and the club hope he will be with them in time for their league clash at Newcastle on Sunday week.
Gatland, who has rejected a number of other offers in favour of Wasps, was controversially sacked by Ireland last month, despite leading them to second place in the Six Nations and victory over England.
