LONDON - Children are at greater risk of suffering skin cancers by the time they reach their 50s because of the depletion of the ozone layer, scientists warned yesterday.
The ozone layer over Britain has suffered record depletion over the past year and humans, animals and plants could be affected by harmful ultra violet rays, the scientists said in two reports published by the British government.
