A 16-year-old boy has been charged with killing six people and wounding another during a two-day shooting spree on the outskirts of Philadelphia.
The same gun was used to kill all six people earlier this month. Physical evidence links the teenager to the shootings, prosecutors claimed.
The name of the teenager has not been released but because of his age he would not be eligible for the death penalty if convicted.
The first four bodies were found on February 7th in a house in West Atco.
All four people, in their 30s and 40s, had been shot to death three days earlier. Prosecutors said they believe the suspect went to their homes to rob the victims and to settle a grudge against another.
The following night, he allegedly tried to buy marijuana at an apartment complex in a nearby town. When he was refused, he shot and wounded an 18-year-old.
After that the suspect allegedly shot and killed two men, who authorities say may have witnessed the first shooting.
