Manchester United will make a final attempt to sign Brazilian midfielder Ronaldinho from Paris St Germain today.
It is understood United want the issue settled one way or the other by the end of the day. They will accept defeat should the bid fail and turn their attention elsewhere.
The Premiership champions have been linked with a move for Republic of Ireland international Damien Duff, but Ronaldinho remains Alex Ferguson's first choice.
However, Brazilian Kleberson will undergo a medical in Manchester today. Personal terms and a transfer fee have been agreed.
