A second Westerner kidnapped in the Pakistani city of Multan today is believed to be a German citizen, the local police chief said.
Speaking hours after news that an Italian had been kidnapped the police chief, Amir Zulfiqar, told reporters outside the house where the abductions took place:
"Three armed men entered the house and kidnapped two foreign nationals. One of them is an Italian national and the other we believe to be German."
