Two men held in connection with a fatal shooting in Tallaght in January remain in custody this morning.
The men, aged 19 and 25, were arrested on Tuesday as part of the investigation into the death of Stephen O'Halloran in Tallaght on January 19th.
A late-night court sitting yesterday extended the men's detention, giving gardaí more time to question them.
Mr O'Halloran (20) was shot in the head as he sat in a car outside his mother's house at Kilmartin Drive, Tallaght. He died at the scene.
Two other men in the car were also wounded in the attack as they tried to escape the gumen. A Garda patrol car in the area arrived at the scene within minutes, but the attackers had fled.
