Two men have been arrested in Co Louth after gardaí seized cannabis worth approximately €400,000 during a house search.
Members of the Garda National Drugs Unit and gardaí based at Dundalk searched a house at Seatown, Dundalk, this morning.
What gardaí described as “a substantial cannabis cultivation site” was discovered. Some 800 plants were seized, along with 7kg of herbal cannabis.
The total value of the drugs is estimated at €400,000, subject to analysis.

Two men, aged 31 and 42, were arrested at the scene. They are being detained at Dundalk Garda station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice ( Drug Trafficking ) Act 1996.
