Two men have been arrested in connection with the seizure of cannabis plants and herb in Co Meath yesterday.
The men, one aged in his 20s and the other in his 40s, were arrested following a planned search of a house in Ashbourne at about 1pm, a Garda statement said.
A large quantity of cannabis plants and some cannabis herb with a total estimated street value of up to €200,000 was seized during the seach. Cultivation equipment was also found.
The two men arrested at the scene are currently being held under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act 1996 at Kells Garda station.
