Two die in Wexford, Kerry crashes

A man (41) has died following a collision between two vans in Gorey, Co Wexford, last night.

A man (41) has died following a collision between two vans in Gorey, Co Wexford, last night.

The crash happened at Tinnock, at about 9.50pm.

The man who died was the only occupant of one of the vehicles.

The male driver (38) of the second van was seriously injured and was taken to St Vincent?s University Hospital in Dublin.

The road is closed for a forensic examination.

Gardai have called on witnesses to contact them at Gorey Garda station on 053-9430690, the Garda confidential line 1-800-666-111 or at any Garda Station.

Meanwhile, a 26-year-old motorcyclist was killed when he was hit by a car at Ballyheigue, north Kerry, yesterday.

The crash occurred at about 6.35pm. No one else was injured.
