Two charged over Dublin shooting

Two men have been charged in relation to a shooting in west Dublin in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Two men have been charged in relation to a shooting in west Dublin in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The pair, who were in their 20s, were arrested after a number of shots were fired at the door and windows of a house in Lealand Avenue at about 2am.

No one was injured in the incident.

The men, both in their 20s, were intercepted by gardaí on patrol in the area.

A shotgun and ammunition were recovered.

The men are expected to appear before Dublin District Court tomorrow.
