Trimble to address EU ambassadors in Dublin

Ulster Unionist Party leader Mr David Trimble is in Dublin today to address ambassadors from the EU states.

Ulster Unionist Party leader Mr David Trimble is in Dublin today to address ambassadors from the EU states.

Mr Trimble is not scheduled to meet any members of the Government.

An SDLP delegation will also meet political parties at Leinster House.

The group will include several MLAs, including former finance minister Dr Sean Farren and employment minister Ms Carmel Hanna.

British and Irish officials are meeting in London today to discuss final arrangements for holding multi-party talks on restoring the Northern Ireland institutions.
