Damages awarded by the Hepatitis C compensation tribunal topped the £5 million mark yesterday.
Solicitors Malcomson-Law revealed that this week the tribunal had awarded £804,000 to four haemophiliac applicants.
Mr Raymond Bradley said there had been awards of £302,000, £220,000, £150,000 and £132,000. Yesterday's awards brought the total amount awarded so far to almost £5.3 million.
