Republic of Ireland soccer manager Giovanni Trapattoni has accepted an invitation to visit the Cliffs of Moher on Friday, according to Ger Dollard, director of the company that runs the visitor centre.
It is hoped the visit will boost the chances of the spectacular setting with its 600ft cliffs overlooking the Atlantic to qualify as one of the seven new wonders of the world.
