The Donegal Dances, a week-long programme of instruction in and demonstration of traditional dance, is being held in Glencolumcille from August 21st-28th.

The dances include the Mazurka, the Highland, Shoe the Donkey, and The Peeler and the Goat.

There are two workshops which are open to the public.

"We get people from all over the world," said Mr Liam O Cuinneagain, the organiser. "It attracts people who may be already familiar with set dancing and want to learn new dances."
