London - A former British Conservative cabinet minister yesterday attacked the Church of England "at the top" for its failure to speak with one voice over moral issues like reducing the homosexual age of consent to 16.
Baroness Young, who led the campaign in the House of Lords against the measure, said: "I am very sad about the state of the Church of England today."
