A man has pleaded guilty to killing a fisherman on a trawler in Howth Harbour two years ago.
Sergejs Lavrinovics (35), of no fixed address, pleaded not guilty to murder but guilty of the manslaughter of Igors Bondarenko (35), a Latvian fisherman, on a date unknown between September 18th and October 4th 2006 on a trawler known as
Miraculous, which was berthed in Howth Harbour, Howth, Co Dublin.
Two other men pleaded guilty to throwing the dead man's body overboard.
Andrijans Ubelis and Freddy Grenzman pleaded guilty to assisting Lavrinovics by throwing the body overboard with the intent to impede the apprehension or prosecution of Lavrinovics.
