Three charged with Drogheda murder

Three people have been charged with murdering a man who died after being attacked on St Stephen’s Day 2007.

Three people have been charged with murdering a man who died after being attacked on St Stephen’s Day 2007.

Darren McKeown (29), Donore, Co Meath, died two days after the assault which took place in the Rowan Heights estate, Marley’s Lane, Drogheda. He had been at a party in the estate.

Michael Cruise (18), Donore Avenue, Ballsgrove, Drogheda, Louise Wall (20), Cranmore, Clogherhead, and Jason McGlone McEnteggart (18), Beechwood Drive, Marley’s Lane, Drogheda, appeared at Drogheda District Court yesterday charged with the murder of Mr McKeown at Rowan Heights on December 29th, 2007.

Roy Traynor (19), Beechwood Drive, Drogheda, Seán Dyas (20), Rathmullen Park, Drogheda, and a 17-year-old youth also appeared and were charged with violent disorder.
