Three arrested over shooting at Limerick house

Three people were in custody in Limerick last night in connection with a shooting at a house in the city last week.

Three people were in custody in Limerick last night in connection with a shooting at a house in the city last week.

A number of shots were fired at a house on Lenihan Avenue in Prospect at about 2.35am last Friday, July 29th.

Gardaí believe a man wearing a hoodie fired a number of shots at the house using a handgun. A family including young children were in the house at the time but nobody was injured.

Gardaí arrested one man and two women yesterday afternoon. They are in their 20s and are being held for questioning at Garda stations across Limerick.
