Three men have been arrested over an attack in west Dublin that left a man in a serious condition in hospital.
Gardaí said four men were sitting in a parked car at Fortlawn Park in Blanchardstown at about 6.30am when they were attacked by a group of men.
During the incident, a 21-year-old man who was in the car received serious head injuries. He was taken to Connolly hospital for treatment being being moved to Beaumont.
The car was stolen and later found on fire a short distance away at Sheepmore Green.
Three men in their early 20s were later arrested and are being held at Blanchardstown Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
