Sumopits you and your spherical sumo player against a series of opponents and challenges in a precarious ring. The object is to bounce your opponent out of the ring without falling out yourself. You'll be up against a variety of environments – ice that affects how much control your character has, wooden blocks surrounding the ring that can be blasted through. Enemies vary as well, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Your character is controlled through a series of gesture swipes. The iOS version recognises how many fingers you use to swipe and translates that into movement on screen. Controlling the ball-shaped sumo is easy when it's you against some inanimate objects and test dummies. Going up against real opponents, who won't stay still is far more difficult.
