Candy Crush one of those impossible-to-put-down games along the same lines as Bejeweled. You want to beat just one more level before you give up. And while it hooks you in with simple gameplay, its the levels that will have you tearing your hair out and keep you coming back. The basic idea is that you match three or more of the same kind to clear them. Match four or five and you get special candies that can clear entire lines or explode to take surrounding pieces . And you can mix and match the special candies for even better results. It gets progressively more difficult to clear the levels, with many hindrances poppung up, but you can buy or earn powerups that will help you on your way. The Facebook version limits you to five lives that gradually replenish over time or with the help of friends, as does the iOS app. But you can link the two together so your progress is mirrored on both.
