People Before Profit TD Richard Boyd Barrett has promised 10 days of protest when the International Monetary Fund delegation is next in Dublin for a quarterly review of the bailout deal.
Mr Boyd Barrett said the delegation should be met with a “sea of protest”, and hoped thousands of people would take to the streets.
Portuguese and Greek speakers had been invited to a public meeting on July 6th, and a national demonstration would take place on July 16th. “We have to go beyond saying please to the ECB. We have to say no to the ECB, the way the Greek people are saying no,” the TD said.
