Siptu taxi drivers are to continue their protest next week, with further action planned for Dublin Airport on Monday.

Drivers are picketing the airport between 7am and 1pm as part of a campaign to be allowed the right to appeal decisions by the taxi regulator.

The union has been seeking an appeals process against the regulator's decisions since September 2006.

The latest action follows a serious of demonstrations by the drivers over the past few days.

Hundreds of drivers staged demonstrations at the Department of Transport and Dublin Airport earlier this week, seeking a moratorium on the number of licences being issued.
