Today (4pm): Crews of the 87 tall ships parade from Ballybricken to Lombard Street via the quay accompanied by marching bands. Music and entertainment throughout the city.

Tomorrow (11pm): Suirfire fireworks display over River Suir - the fireworks display will be reflected on the Suir's waters as well as on the majestic tall ships berthed on the quay sides.

Saturday (7am): The Parade of Sail begins with the 87 tall ships, led by the Irish ships - the Asgard II, the Dunbrody and the Jeanie Johnston - sailing down the Suir. Dunmore East is a good vantage point to view the flotilla.

3pm: The race to Cherbourg starts off Hook Head.
