A teenage youth who was shot in Swords on Saturday night is believed to have been a victim of mistaken identity, according to gardaí.
The 16-year-old, who is in a stable condition in hospital, was fired at as he walked with three friends through St Cronan's Close in Swords.
Gardaí believe that the attackers were looking for another boy in relation to a dispute over a motorbike.
A boy (16) and man (36) are being held in relation to the shooting.
