Ireland's oldest woman is to be laid to rest in her family grave at Aglish, Co Waterford, today, having died yesterday at 105.
One of nine children, Mrs Rita Duffy was born in Ballinacourty, Villierstown, Co Waterford, on February 27th, 1897.
An active woman, she was very involved in the community and even into her nineties was winning Tidy Town Competitions for her garden and flower beds.
