The Archbishop of Dublin, Dr Desmond Connell, yesterday announced a special appeal for the victims of the Kosovo crisis. Dr Connell said a special collection would be taken at all masses in the diocese next Sunday, April 11th, and vigil masses on April 10th.
Dr Connell said he had been following the developments in Kosovo and the surrounding Balkan regions "with deep and growing concern".
"This collection will offer an opportunity to the people of the Archdiocese to show their solidarity with those who are suffering so much," he said in a statement.
