Spain's coach Jose Antonio Camacho has resigned, the president of the country's football federation Angel Maria Villar said during a press conference today.
The contract of former Real Madrid player Camacho, who had been at the helm of Spain for nearly four years, had been due to run till after the 2004 European championship finals in Portugal.
Spain were knocked out by South Korea in the quarter-finals of the World Cup finals.
