A bomb attack west of Baghdad killed a soldier in the US-led coalition and wounded another today, a US military spokesman said.
The US military declined to specify the nationality of the victims of the attack.
Most soldiers based west of Baghdad are US military. At least 401 US soldiers have been killed in action in Iraq since the start of the war last year.
