A League of Ireland soccer coach has been released from Garda custody after being held for questioning over child-abuse allegations.
The man, who has not been named, was arrested yesterday and held at a south Dublin Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
It is understood he was questioned over sexual abuse of a young boy under the age of 14.
