A SLIGO man was remanded in custody by the Central Criminal Court yesterday after he pleaded guilty to sexually abusing three girls over a 10-year period.
The middle-aged man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted 11 charges of indecently and sexually assaulting two of his sisters and a neighbour from 1974 to 1986.
Mr Justice Carney requested reports on both the defendant and the victims for the sentence hearing on July 11th.
