The British embassy in Tehran said three or four shots were fired at or near the embassy building early today, the second time in under a week shots have been fired at the British mission amid bilateral tensions with Iran.
"Three or four shots were fired from the street at or close to the embassy building. There were witnesses to this outside the embassy," British diplomat Mr Andrew Greenstock in Tehran said, adding that there were no injuries.
